Good sign for Carrasco that he can't put away a career .227 hitter with 159 K in 573 AB.

Not enough strike 1s for Carrasco. Fallen behind 3 of the 4 hitters so far

Grady and Orlando are the only ones who have looked like a Major league hitter in this series

It seemed to be a combo of him missing and the ump's zone, He had 2 or 3 that were borderline that he didnt get that put him in some bad counts, but he still has to put them away and battle back.

The worst offense in the majors is undoing all the progress the pitching has made since last season.

I think with O-Cab at the plate we should be thinking hit and run

he has good numbers against Pavano and will likely get the ball in play

Gomez was leaving a lot of pitches up, but he manages to throw a couple of scoreless frames. We need at least another couple of runs.

Deja vu?

A Santana walk and a Hafner bloop single lead to our 3 runs earlier in the game.

5 different series in 5 different cities and 3 different time zones. After being on such a high for so long, I think the team's a little tired overall. 5 guys have played in either 19 or all 20 games.

Coming home will help them. 7-2 at home. Take 2 of 3 from KC and go from there.

A day off at home tomorrow will be good for them. A chance to spend a little time with their families (if they're here) and relax at home.

Ups and downs. Hopefully we will learn to win when things don't go our way.

Still having a 1.5 game lead over Detroit and KC makes these losses hurt a lot less.

But can someone explain what is up with Target Field's RF wall?

If you hit it under that section that sticks out it's a homer but if it hits the section that sticks out (which is higher) it's not? I mean who the fuck designed that and why haven't they changed the ruling on balls that hit the higher wall?
Cleveland is the city where we come from so run run

Tough loss. One inch farther on Brantley's double and it's a 4-4 game. If Hanahan's liner to center in the 9th is a foot shorter it drops in and he scores on Grady's double. Then there was Orly's error...

Then again, if two Twins hadn't run through stop signs at 3rd base the Tribe would not have been in a position to win in the 9th. The Twins got away with one.

We're starting to see cracks in the bullpen. A blown save by C. Perez against the Royals, then the last two games against the Twins. And now we might have to bring up another starter from Columbus. It's not looking good. Tribe is 3-8 against the A.L. Central so far. They need to have a good series against the Royals. Fortunately Masterson and Tomlin are due to pitch and they have been our two best starters.

It's not all doom and gloom yet. They are only 3-6 vs the AL Central
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

Right, thanks for the correction. And six of those nine games were on the road, so yeah, it's not too bad yet. But they need to do better against the division.

The Tribe got lucky to get the Red Sox when they were struggling. The Sox have won five straight and 8 of 10.
