http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/news/story?id=6395501Been hearing about Brandon Wood for at least 5 years, and now he's done with the Angels. Seemed to be the exact same story as Marte, given plenty of chances but just couldn't hit MLB pitching. And it's not like the Angels had anybody blocking him, at any point. He's just bad. If we didn't have the Chiz I'd say take a chance, but we do and Hannahan has been a revelation at defense after the double-turdburger of Peralta and Valbuena.

Even if we didn't have Chisenhall, why take a chance on him? He's completely worthless. Career .168 hitter.
Even in Triple-A last year he only hit .196. He is just a terrible major league baseball player. Major bust. Even Andy Marte is better than him.
