I wear the war paint. Help me fellow warriors as I struggle for sanity....but I often peer out to shortstop rub my eyes.....and see a third baseman. Should I see a doctor or call Eric ?

I don't think Peralta is a 3B. His greatest trouble at SS is breaking to his left. That would not be an asset at 3B. I'm not sure his arm can handle it either.
Peralta is a SS. He's not a stud, but I'm not sure how well he'd fit anywhere else. If other bats come along, I can see him traded and Cabrera being the starting SS down the line.

I think Jhonny will bounce back with the bat this year. Long term I don't see him at short as he continues to "mature." As you pointed out we have options depending how others "hit" . The jury is way out on Marte. I think Jhonny's arm is good enough for 3rd. I would bet he's a better 3rd baseman than Andy or Blake right now. I know Cabrera can realy play the "D". So IF :
1. Peralta hits a ton.
2. Andy never pans out.
3. Blake slumps big time.
Can I move Peralta to 3rd & Cabrera to short as an experiment ?
