Should be up 2-0. Shelley was just a tick in front of that pitch in the 2nd.

It'll be rough when we go from Chen to their hard throwing pen later on.

Someone needs to tell Underwood that it was Sizemore, not Brantley, that went 3-for-5 yesterday.

He's mentioned it in both of Brantley's ABs so far.

This game is very reminiscent of the extra innings loss to the Angels last week.

I had that one written off as a loss in about the 5th inning and i've pretty much chalked this one up too.

What we have to remember about tonight is that we are basically sending our C lineup out there tonight and that tomorrow will be different. LaPorta would have dug either throw in the 2nd out of the dirt to get Escobar and the batting order will be completely different.

However, this game is still very much winnable and they need to stop playing like crap.

Chen was 3-0 vs. the Indians last year and he's pitching very well so far this year. I pretty much had this one chalked up as a loss before it started unless Gomez had a career game. That's OK. I wasn't expecting a four-game sweep on the road against a team that's red hot right now. I'll be happy with a split.

Hopefully Masterson and Tomlin can get us a win between them.

Good eye Choo. I would have preferred a hit on that fastball down the middle that he fouled off, but I'll take it.

By the way, someone needs to tell Underwood that Soria explicitly stated that he doesn't want to be called the "Mexecutioner" anymore, you know, for all those real executions that happen every day in Mexico. He's called him that in both games.

Why is Santana still hitting cleanup?

He doesn't deserve it. He isn't doing anything to earn it. Acta said he's not in the business of just giving people spots, people have to earn them. Well you better manage that way. Hafner better be hitting cleanup tomorrow night.

Brantley leads off. Sizemore hits third. Hafner in clean-up. Choo fifth and Santana sixth.

This isn't rocket science, Acta. Do it. Do it now. No time to be diddling with the bullshit AB's Choo and Santana are putting up right now.

They'll hit eventually and I understand not wanting left-handers back-to-back, but for now there are some baseball games to win.

Odds are when that line-up turns around late in the game for the fourth/fifth time, it's going to be the heart of the order up in the key situations. Choo and Santana should not be in those situations right now.

After killing our last chance by looking at three straight strikes I'd have Carlos on the bench tomorrow night. Marson had a danged nice game. Hafner had most of the night off so he can DH. Gotta smack the kid upside the head somehow...make him sit.

On the other hand, can't win 'em all. Would be nice but ain't gonna happen. I say we start a new win streak tomorrow night. Go get 'em Justin!
