Awesome game.

I got to take the 3 month old to his first game where his Aunt threw out the first pitch. We win, Sizemore looked great, Hafner with the Homer, Santana with the homer and off the snide, and another solid Carmona outing.

This is the best I have felt since the end of the 2007 season and I'm just going to soak it up and keep watching .......with hope.
I met my Spergon Wynn's mom once in a bar in Houston. It was a little awkward.

The last time they were this far over .500 was 2007.

147 games to go. If they go 70-77 the rest of the way they are .500

70-77 is a .476 clip the rest of the way.

Question. If you were to re-adjust your prediction based on the fast start, what do you say they win this year? I never made a prediction but i was in the 70-75 win camp assuming they were not much better than last year. even with the good start i say the pitching determines how well you play so i would stick with 70-75 wins. perhaps i would go to the upper part of the range and say 75 but that is all. good to see them playing well.

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. I hope they win 85-90 but just don't think they can play at this level the rest of the year. Sorry if I am ruining the fun.

Well, very few teams play at a .700 level, so that's a pretty safe statement to make.
