Games on radio in Columbus

Is the fan still broadcasting games in Columbus? I've tried to tune in several times now and its just been a simulcast of whatever junk ESPN radio is playing. The website says that it plays the games, but no games appear on the schedule.

Am I just crazy? Is there somewhere that is broadcasting the games in Columbus?

Try 1460, WBNS-AM. If that doesn't work try this list here to check all the Tribe affiliate stations. You have to be able to get one them to come in (I hope). Good luck!

1460 is the Fan, they aren't playing the games anymore, or so it seems. I don't seem to be able to get the others while in the middle of Columbus either, but I'll keep trying.

Try WLOH 1320 AM from Lancaster, found an article that says that WBNS dropped the Indians because of WBNS contract with OSU.

The Indians website needs to be update now that WBNS is no longer a radio affiliate.

In the meantime, the Indians are offering free access to audio broadcasts of games via mlb.com, but only through April. Fans need to call 216-420-4487 to receive a password to access the website.

9,000 radio stations and none of them want to carry the Indians. Awwww horseshit!

They should put it on 105.7 WBWR FM "The Brew", I believe WBWR is a Browns affiliate so it would make sense for them to also carry the Indians.

I have to believe that with the Tribe doing as well as they are that The Indians would find some way to make sure that Columbus can hear Hammy.

It's not your car. I don't think there's much of a chance to get Tribe games on radio down here.

I check all the time, hoping that maybe i'll pick up some fuzzy Russian feed of the game. "Oh yes, commrade, Travis Hafner hit ball great distance to ensure the running to the home". That's how Russians would call the game....... in my mind.

I had on a Mansfield station (1400) on my drive down last week. Don't remember if/when it faded since I was contemplating suicide by the time I reached Columbus with two kids and a wife in my ear.

Lived in Columbus all last year, always was good to see CLE fans there since its so divided. Cincy, Shittsbugh, and CLE...HAHA Peeker ride from CLE to Columbus is god awful....

It's actually been pretty good this year. The Brown's run brought a lot of fans out of the wood work, and I seen Indians stuff about daily these days. Much less piss and yellow than usual.

Way too many Yankee's hats those. Pisses me off.

You know for $20 you can sign up for MLB audio and listen to every game everywhere you have a computer. On "gardening days" I hook the laptop up to speakers and play the game while working in the yard. Or for $15 you can get the At Bat app for a smartphone. We already had the MLB audio and my Mr. Microchip hubby figured out which doors to crawl through on the phone so he could also activate our audio for the phone using our MLB Audio plan. $20 and now I can listen to my Tribe EVERYWHERE! Nirvana...especially THIS year! IMO it's worth every penny!
