He hit it right into the teeth of a huge wind too. Crushed it. Just 30 seconds after I posted on Twitter it would take driver and 6-iron to hit a ball outta here tonight.
It's definitely a good sign
When I saw your avatar, I first asked myself why Stacy Keech was at a Mariners presser.

I was just about to mention that. It's great to see Hafner getting some respect from the opposing teams again. He will be crucial for us this year if we are going to do anything.

IP W-L SV ERA Ks BB
10.0 0-2 0 7.20 5 5
Start after start and I'm liking the Masterson/Marson part of the V-Mart deal more and more...

Marson was in the Lee deal and most knowledgeable Sox fans liked Masterson more than Clay, due to mental make-up alone. Bucholz has that entitled fragile side that is scary, a slow start like this has the potential to ruin a ridiculously talented pitcher for the year when they have the fragile make-up he does.

Bit of a kick in the teeth to Brantley who leads the team in AVG, hits and OBP (among everyday players)
Is that not what a leadoff hitter is?
Grady should be hitting 6th (Hafner moved to cleanup, Santana 5th)
