Santana again? I love the guy but he's scuffling. Give the cat a break Acta.

If Manny can't see it, then I don't know what to say. Dude's trying to smash his way out of it and that's not how it works. I'm telling you, I'm 100% certain he was limping on those ground balls he hit yesterday. I wonder if that knee is hurt. He's swinging 100% arms right now and his legs should be the driving force behind his cuts.

I don't know if this is Acta's way of tough love, or showing the kid that it's a grind, but for christ sake, give the kid a couple days off.

Maybe with the day off tomorrow Manny decided to play Carlos anyway.

I think it was that last game against the Red Sox that he slid feet-first into 2nd base on a steal and he was walking with a slight limp off the field. Dunno if that was the start of anything, but it had me worried.

I don't remember Carrasco ever having movement on his fastball. It was always a straight fastball.

He has a good bit of tailing movement on it tonight, though. I like it.

The adjustment Carrasco has made has been up and down so far, but I think in the long run it's a great change. He still looks much better than I've ever seen him.

I heard Acta say on the pregame that Santana's jumping out after the ball and trying to hit his way out of it with one swing.

Pretty sure that's about what I said.

I can only assume he was going on contact and, with the infield in, he was trying to get a big a lead as possible.

With the exception of the meatball to Hunter, Carrasco's thrown the ball pretty well. He's got a little wild to a couple of hitters, but it's hard to argue with 6 innings of 3 run ball.
