Jack Wilson would've jumped Wedge from behind while Milton pretended to listen. Tag-team style.

I know it's early in the season, small sample sizes noted ... but some of our young guys like Brantley, Masterson, Carrasco ... look like they're ready to be solid contributers.

Santana and Asdrubal are healthy. Hafner looks better than he has in years. Sizemore is coming back.

It's exciting.

Drew Gooden with a triple double against the Cavs (13 assists for a guy averaging less than 1 this season)

ugh! The ultimate insult but hey we lost so everything is golden

Drew Gooden had 13 assists in a game?

I looked it up online, I still don't believe it.

That may be more impressive/unlikely than the Wilt Chamberlain 100 point game and DiMaggio's hitting streak.

I like Santana patting the ump in the chest after he took that ball off the chest/facemask. He's barely in his second season, 1st full, and he already knows how important a relationship with the umps can be.

Helluva start from Masterson. Two starts. Hopefully he will move to 2-0. ERA of 0.68. WHIP of 1.05.

Very encouraging.

I feel sorry for Mariners fans. Their team was last in scoring in the A.L. in 2010 by a wide margin and they're hitting .228 so far this year. The trades of Choo and Droobs are really haunting them right now.

Now that I said that they'll explode for seven or eight runs.

If he bunts that to the right side it's probably 2-2 but with a left hander on the mound...

Wow. Ichiro obviously wasn't confident he could get a hit off Raffie so he tried a bunt. Fortunately it was too close to the mound. Nice play by Raffie. Now let's get an insurance run.
