Wow, so this is what it feels like to be good? It's been awhile so I've forgotten... (I know it might not last but let me enjoy it while I can.) ;-) ;)

Don't remember who said what here but someone mentioned the Mariner's BA as being only .228 and feeling bad for them. Well as a Buckeye living in exile in Red Sux country I have to say I am fully enjoying the Sux .215BA! Oh, and their 1-7 start. According to ESPN (EverythingSuxPlusNewyork) they are the Best Team Evah! Pffttt...they should see our Tribe.

So far this year Masterson-for-Victor is looking OK. But didn't we originally want Buchholz? He of the 7.20ERA, 6HR in 2 games, 0-2 record? So far this year I'm thinking we might have the better deal. Go Tribe! Another sweep please?

I said it. I meant I feel sorry for their fans. Their franchise developed superstars that they could not afford to hold on to (Griffey, A-Rod, Big Unit). For some reason I can relate to that. Their management made some incredibly stupid trades (Omar for Fermin, Choo and Droobs for Benuardo). It rains all the time. They did manage to keep Ichiro and Edgar Martinez and they have been competitive now and then. But right now they have no offense, Ichiro is starting to decline, Milton Bradley is their #3 hitter, Wedge is their manager and it's a porn stache year. They just seem like an unbearable team to watch. Did I mention that it rains there a lot?

I also live in Red Sux country and am thoroughly enjoying their 1-7 start, especially since the Tribe was able to make a modest contribution. I think I'll start listening to Red Sux talk radio to hear their spoiled fans whine and grouse before their team snaps out of it.

Grouse? The Sux fans are lining up on bridges! We were in 2004 - these "fans" had their team finished off in July. Then they win the World Series. They've been majorly spoiled ever since.
