5 runs in the second. We shouldn't have gotten any. In a series of moves that would have made Eric Wedge proud, the Rangers:
1. Throw to the wrong base (Wilkerson throws to 3rd instead of second, allowing Nixon to advance to second on a single to left-center)
2. Throw the ball away on a double play ball (Choo with weak grounder to 2nd base, which would have been a DP ball that would have gotten Rangers out of inning, but Peralta doesn't let Kinsler tag him, and Kinsler ends up throwing ball into the camera bay, bringing in 2 runs and moving runners to 2nd and 3rd.
3. Give up a ground ball RBI single by Casey Blake.
I'm glad we did it, but Padilla pitched well enough to get out of the inning several times. He deserved a better fate.
Glad it occasionally does happen to other teams.
