Lincecum and Hershiser with Dibble to slam the door. Gonna make moves with my #3 starter and supporting bullpen.

Babe Ruth to anchor the lineup. Biggio and Trammell on their best years ever at 2b and ss. Gonna mix up a lot of the rest of the offense.

Did miss out on several offensive players I wanted. Does put me #3 in the waiver order. The waiver order is inverse of how many of your requested players you ended up getting.

You can waive two players prior to the waiver pickups. You only need carry 23. Minimum 10 pitchers, so the cuts must be position players.

But to clear serious cap room, that will come from the player you drop on the other end of the add request. For example, my #3 starter is like 6.9 mill. My two cuts will give me about 2 mill in cap space going into waivers. Thus, theoretically, my first waiver request could be to add a 8.8mm pitcher, waiving my 6.9mm pitcher.

You should assume all waiver moves will go through, and any subsequent ones must keep you under the cap to go through.

Couple other waiver related notes. Once waivers run on Mon at 5 PM (get waiver moves in prior to that) ... there is open add/drops till the season starts.

Once the season starts, when you waive a guy, there is a 20% salary penalty. Thus, if you release a 1mm guy after the season starts, it only frees up 800k in cap room.

Check that ... looks like you can only waive one right off the bat now. Must carry 24 players minimum, 25 max. Min of 10 pitchers and 14 position players.

No seriously I got 100% of my draft, I experimented with my pen but I can change that no problem. I got Eck, Randy and Yaz I'm happy with that, a few tweaks and I'm ok.

Scratch, maybe you haven't heard, but I don't do that no more. Shine shoes...I don't do that no more. Also, who the fk picks 1980 Royals Stadium as their home park? My guys are filing a greviance with the league in an effort to not have to travel to this game and just have you forefit 2 of the 3 game series.

FWIW just taking a quick glance around the league, I like TBone's team a lot, good balance with money, power and avg, with very respectable pitchers. Early favorite IMO.

excited, nervous, looking for forward to 2 months of fresh lebowski avatars. Like my fantasy baseball woes of past, it looks like I drafted to many mid-level Indians players.

Can I drop 2 players on a waiver somehow to open up enough salary to add 1 player. I have a waiver request in, but since I will not have enough funds, I think it will bounce my request.

My thought is that maybe I am better off wating until after the initial waiver period? and if the player is available to go ahead and just try and get him on the first come, first serve?

or am i missing something.

So we can only drop 1 player prior to tomorrow. After waivers run tomorrow we can drop whoever we want so long as we are carrying at least 24 players, right? And we have until NEXT monday to drop players and recoup their entire salary correct?

Getting busy. Roster is starting to come into focus. May be a fatal error but it's easier for me to relate to similar players from the 60's and 70's than from players with similar numbers from the 20's.

I think I've flipped about 40% of my roster. :bag:

And this is as big a time suck as you'll allow it to be. Good time to be on disability leave :hide:
