And by "suboptimal," of course, I mean "brain damaged."

Technically the Brontosaurus never existed unless you use the term in reference to all Apatosaurs.

They should be able to hit better than any batter with a tail as big as a house.

I do sympathize with the point, though I'd say something more akin to "My grandpa could hit better than Casey Blake an my grandfather is dead."
