I have a theory

Unread postby Steve Buffum » Thu Apr 19, 2007 1:45 pm

Asking Ryan Garko to steal a base is "suboptimal."

Depending on Casey Blake to make contact is "suboptimal."

And by "suboptimal," of course, I mean "brain damaged."

A followup theory

Unread postby Steve Buffum » Thu Apr 19, 2007 2:29 pm

Ahem.

A brontosaurus was thin at one end, muchmuchmuchmuch thicker in the middle, and still a better hitter than Casey Blake despite having been dead for 80 million years.

That is my theory, and it is mine.

Technically the Brontosaurus never existed unless you use the term in reference to all Apatosaurs.

They should be able to hit better than any batter with a tail as big as a house.

I do sympathize with the point, though I'd say something more akin to "My grandpa could hit better than Casey Blake an my grandfather is dead."

Yes. However, Miss Anne Elk's Theory specifically referenced the brontosaurus.

Now, there is a followup theory comparing the speed of the apatosaurus to that of Ryan Garko...

Have you heard the one about the Tyrannosaurus Rex playing the outfield?

No, but thanks to Rigs, I will always think of Fred Flintstone when Jason Michaels is out there.
