Tribe Talk Joins Us Here At TheClevelandFan.com

Unread postby swerb » Sun Apr 15, 2007 2:36 pm

Some good news.

The guys over at www.tribe-talk.com have decided to join us over here at TCF. They're pointing their url to our Indians page, and the regulars over there are going to start hangin' and bangin' here in our Indians forum.

Forum activity and overall website traffic has been ascending at a very strong pace as of late, and this will only add to the growing community of sports talkers we have in here.

Welcome aboard fellas. And thanks for thinking of us when looking for a new place to hang out.

We are very excited to merge our site and members over here. We have a fairly decent size membership base, and I can assure you most of them will come over here and post as well!

We are all for the Indians and we all want to talk in a quality place about them; and TheClevelandFan is just that!

The redirect is coming this week!

Swerbs this site has really come around in a year. Congratulations. You have done a great job!

Swerb - I just want to echo the thoughts of others. Nice work with the website over the last year. Things have really come together nicely for you. You have some really, really good Indians writers. Steve Buffum and Tony Lastoria are as good as anyone out there covering this team right now.

Keep up the great work Tony. Your minor league coverage is top notch, and there is a dearth of that type of coverage available.

Yeah, I know. It used to bug the bejesus out of me......which is why I started the Minor Happenings piece. Still a looooong way from where I want that piece to be, but man, if you look at where it started from last year and to where it is now, it has certainly envolved.

And, I don't think there is another game recap piece on the Indians or any other team in professional sports better than the B-List.

(Boy, I gotta hand it to Wedge tonight: he's got a pair sending Lord Joe out there for the one-run save ...)

I couldn't even look directly at the television screen when Lord Joe was closing that one out tonight. We needed it though. It's crucial for team morale to follow a loss like Thursday's up with a win.

No doubt, and thank you Joe Bo!

Wedge and Blake still suck...toss up between who I hate more :-( :(

I'm out of town this weekend and I'm sporting Indians gear at a pub and OF COURSE the Yankee fan finds me before his beer. "What the **** was Wedge doing?" he says. Thank GOD we WON tonight and THEY blew a lead...he bought SEVERAL rounds
