I'm just glad it won't cost him his job or anything like that. We have the best announcers in the league, both on radio and color. Manning is the best of them all.

I caught it.

He was having a conversation with Bart Swain, who they had been making fun of earlier in the game for wearing a winter hat in the press box, and it was just as they came back to the game from commercials.

The cameras were just showing the dugout or something else and you could faintly pick up the conversation, with Manning's voice being the most recognizable.

Manning was laughing and said something like, "F*** it, we were just playing with you." to Swain. By no means did he say it directly into the mike and it was obviously a matter of Manning not being made aware that they were through commercials and back on the air.

It was still about another 6 seconds before Underwood got back on the mike and welcomed everyone back.

It was not addressed at all in the telecast, and I needed to rewind the DVR about 4 times to really pick it up. It was faint, but there's no question he said it.

It was Rick Manning; who cares!

Now if you want to see some funny shit, check out these hilarious prank calls to CSPAN. These may be the funniest things I've ever seen on there!

I have to listen to these HORRID White Sox announcers. God I miss Columbus.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Those C-Span prank calls are awesome! The quality of entertainment at the 4-27 Tribe game better be as good...

I empathize Furls. I'm in the same boat. They are the worst announcers on the planet. I hate everything about them, from them calling all opposing teams the "bad guys" to the one bozo screaming "he gone!" whenever one of their pitchers manages a K.

I've probably heard just about every broadcast team in MLB over the past few years due to Extra Innings and none have ever managed to infuriate me like those dickheads. I actually can enjoy most other broadcasts. Hell, even the Yankees' guys are fair and give credit where it's due. The White Sox guys are farm worse than any homer I've ever heard. I wish I could get the STO or WKYC feed at all times.

I was watching when they were poking fun at the dude wearing the winter hat but missed the F bomb dropping. The announcers we have are very good, and hope they continue the good work.
