Pronk not talking contract?

Travis Hafner doesn't want to talk about a contract extension with the Indians until after the season, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "Once the season starts you don't want to deal with any distractions," said Hafner. He'll be eligible for free agency after next season.


Is this new, or did this just come out? Is he pissed they got Westie done and not him?

Before Westbrooks PC they mentioned on "all bets are off" that the Indians were supposed to sit down with Hafners reps this weekend before they left town.

This isn't new at all. Ever since the opener in Chicago; Hafner and CC did not want to talk about contracts until season's end.
