If we do pull off a trade for Otsuka and he can replace Davis. Lara can replace Hernandez at some point. That would give us Betancourt, Mastny, Cabrerra, Lara, Otsuka, Borowski, and Fultz. Carmona could go back to Buffalo and become an option for setup guy in case of an injury. That bullpen would definitley be solid and allow us to make a run at October.

Unless Shapiro would suddenly change his tune and be willing to part with some of the farm sytem crown jewels (Adam Miller, Chuck Logfren, Crowe or Barton), don't you think any package to get Otsuka in a deal would include Carmona?

If I'm the Ranger GM, I have to come away with one of 3 pitchers: Miller, Lofgren or Carmona (since Sipp is injured and out until at least the All-Star break).
