Bad ass day in sports today:

Unread postby furls » Sun Apr 08, 2007 8:53 am

Indians twin bill from 1-8pm.
Cavs vs. Pistons from 1-330pm
Master's final round coverage (with Tiger breathing down the packs neck) at 2:30pm.

Best part? I will be able to see all of it from Chaleston, SC, while eating easter ham. I need to get proactive and change the batteries in my remote right now.

Here is wishing you and yours a Happy Easter, and hopefully, a cavs win to match two Indians wins. BTW, tell your kids to enjoy their Easter baskets; due to a terrible hunting accident down here in redneck land, Easter is cancelled next year while they interview replacement bunnies.

Happy Easter everyone.

My kid is 21 months, and this was (obviously) the first year we could hide a basket and eggs for him. It was hysterical watching him go through the process. We hid 8 eggs in various spots around the living room. As he was finding him, he has this perpetual "WTF is going on here" look on his face as he found em and opened em.

Then, the basket was like The Holy Grail. One of those moments that makes being a parent the greatest thing in the world.

And yes Furls, great sports day. Im anxiously trying to get everything done, get my kid napped, pack the car, head to moms, and let the rest of the family deal with Nicholas as I watch the Cavs and Masters all day and eat as much as some families.

Heres a recent pic, Furls, you'll like this one ...

Very cute kid Swerb.

My kids are 9 and 6 now so we're at the "Get out of the way mom and dad where's the candy?" stage of Easter parenting.

But I had that "Holy Grail" feeling and it's great.

As for sports, if there was a NASCAR race on I'd be in heaven but the Indians twin bill and the Cavs Vs Pistons today should be fun to watch day.

Happy Easter all.

They are going to have to push to get the game in, the Mariners do not come back to town at all this year and making up 3 games (in random one game series during off days) is going to be damn near impossible and rather unfair to both teams down the stretch as they fly in from wherever to play a game.

This weather has been insane. In Mentor, we've just been getting pounded with snow all weekend.

April 8th ... unbelievable.

I just wanna play golf, thats all.

After the games being called off and the way the Cavs game went this "bad ass" day has just become a "bad" day.

Ugh.

Tribe games rescheduled for Monday, what are the chances of getting them in? None, this weather flat out sucks. So much for spring.
