When compared with 2005, the Tribe's television numbers were down by 30 percent last year. There is a possible explanation. In 2005, Tribe games were still broadcast on FSN Ohio, an established cable network. The Dolan family created SportsTime Ohio in haste last season, moved the games there and had to work quickly to get the new channel on cable and satellite systems. Further hindering the Tribe's numbers was that STO didn't broadcast 24 hours a day.
``That was huge. You're sitting at home and you turn it on and it's dark,'' STO President Jim Liberatore said. ``You didn't think of SportsTime Ohio. We weren't in the consciousness of the average fan.''

Did you notice that if you look really hard, you could see a baseball game behind that albatross of a graphic they have displayed!!! Good god, who the hell approved that? Their ratings will be down even more if they don't tone that down.
