Kouz Rakin' For The Pads

Kevin Kouzmanoff had a two-run homer, an RBI single and a stolen base to help the Padres beat the Cubs 7-3 on Saturday.

Kouzmanoff has hit .385/.500/.845 in 26 at-bats to put some separation between himself and Russell Branyan. If he can keep it going, it might not be long before he's hitting fourth or fifth for the Padres.

Always loved Kouz. This is a win-win trade for both the Pads and Indians.

Funny how he is battling Russell Branyan for the starting gig. Looks like every other team is just as infatuated with the retreads and not going with deserving prospects.
