Really not impressed with another wet nosed MBA type with no practical baseball experience for being a GM. The most important trait of a GM is his ability to stock the team with talent. To date both Shapiro with boy Antonetti's assistance have accumulated a pretty mediocre track record. It seems these 2 are more adept at surfing the infirmiries than they are scouting college or veteran talent. The diamondview model is merely a crutch for those that lack baseball acumen and even worse for those like Shapiro-Antonetti who don't hire seasoned baseball personnel.
Forgive me if I am not impressed in the least at the resume of Chris Antonetti. He's a bust in Cleveland, I hope someone else will hire him elsewhere.

Antonetti is one of the big up and comers. He'll be a GM somewhere very soon. Good for him.

Love the reply from someone on that Mariner Board. So these two (Shapiro and Antonetti) have built the Indians into a perenial 80 win team. Great
