Cleveland was meeting late into the night Sunday with representatives for relievers Keith Foulke, Octavio Dotel and Joe Borowski. Indians' general manager Mark Shapiro already has added relievers Roberto Hernandez and Aaron Fultz this winter and plans to add more -- mostly on one-year deals that will allow the Indians to retain flexibility beyond 2007. The Indians have inquired about Scot Shields, set-up man extraordinaire for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, but so far Angels GM Bill Stoneman has shown no interest in dealing Shields. The Indians also have spoken with free agent pitcher Miguel Batista, but Batista wants to remain a starter.
