he's a lefty a big innings eater out of the pen but I'm not too crazy about the 4.78 career ERA

despite a poor overall 2006 he did have a 2.27ERA pre All Star break in 44innings it just went all down hill after that.

he restricted lefties to a .179AVG last year and to a .202AVG over the last 3 seasons, teams like the yankees have misused him in recent years which has led to his not so impressive numbers.

Its clear he's a reliever who can only go 1 inning per appearance. He's actually faced almost twice as many righties as lefties but still holding a .262opponents AVG against RHB.

I know there's going to be idiotic 'fans' who will just see his ERA and say he's a bum etc

but dig a little deeper and realise that teams like Florida and the yankees misused him then you'll see its a great pickup.
