The NL West is stepping up big-time for rehabbing lefty Mark Mulder. San Francisco, San Diego, Arizona, and Los Angeles have made pushes very recently. Texas officials flew into Arizona to meet with Mulder's agents, and the Indians are also hot after the lefty, who appears likely to depart St. Louis.

Free agent Cliff Floyd told the Post yesterday that several teams have called regarding his services, including Baltimore, Seattle, Cleveland and Oakland, though the clubs are awaiting a medical update on Floyd, who had offseason surgery on his left Achilles'.

LOL! The Marlins are not trading Hanley Ramirez. Or if they are they are going to ask for gobs of young talent in return. The Marlins have no reason to trade a player still making the minimum, who they control for another 5 years yet, and who almost won rookie of the year....
Just wonder if someone slipped "Dwags" a bogus rumor just to see where it would show up.
