I'm all over it. Was going to post about Jozy's ankle twist in the WC thread- but it's crickets in this forum.

How bad is Jozys ankle? Will he be limited in the WC?

I was listening to Simmons podcast with some soccer dude the other day, and soccer dude compared England's WC history to Cleveland's sports history: the sense of forboding that something will go wrong, and the subsequent confirmation when something inevitably does go wrong.

I heard that Podcast, it was a good primer. I won't lie and say I know all about the other squads, so analysis of players is lost on me beyond Messi, Drogba, Rooney and the other PRIME talent involved in the event.

What fascinates me about WC play is the reflection of the country's ethos manifesting itself in style of play. The clock-work precision of Germany, the free-for-all of Brazil, England's hard-nosed workmen. When those styles meet and are in good form, which is superior?

Oh, yeah- Drogba just fractured his elbow, could be out of Cup. That sucks for Ivory Coast.
