Why the fuck is Varejao taking the biggest shot of the season? Honestly? That was stupid, Andy. Stupid.

Never mind.

WTF, our season comes down to our worst offensive player trying to create...all due to poor time management?

Fitting.

Wonder if SA fouls us here instead of letting us shoot a 3....

Do we go for the quick 2?

Apparently Brown was screaming for a Time Out there, but the team didn't listen, and the refs couldn't hear him.

Lineup after the timeout: Jones, Gibson, Marshall, Pavs, and LeBron.

Nothing else works, and they have 10 seconds to set someone up for the 3.

I'm an atheist, but if there was ever a time I might start praying, it's now.

I think Sasha will be the one to take it, unless LeBron gets it right away and is relatively open.

That is on Bron & SSB, not Roker.

Bron needs to keep it.

If a give & go, SSB needs to have a lick of sense & give it back.

I stand corrected. For the first time in his coaching career, Mike Brown drew up a play that worked.

Good choice there to go for 2. Now, hopefully GInobli misses one.

Why do that?

I don't like that approach.

99% chance of it leaving you with even less time to try to get up court and most likely need to shoot a non conventional 3.

I hate bitching about fouls, but between the Boobie 3-point foul and that LeBron foul to end the game, the refs were no friends of the Cavs tonight.

That's it. Good run. Bowen fouled him. Intentionally. Would have gotten 3 FT's.

But the season is now over. This was the one we could have taken, but the shots just wouldn't fall.

How many years more do we have LeBron?

Do you think that LeBron, now having a taste of the Finals, isn't going to want even more?

Do we have enough time with LeBron to put an even better team around him?

These questions are only partially rhetorical.

3 more years of Bron, I think.

He better want it more.

Yes we have enough time. With some smart trades, we can do it this offseason.

I don't think I will, brother.

All we did by getting here is turn ourselves, our team, our conference, and our franchise player into nationwide laughing stocks. Have you noticed that we've been getting ragged all over the fucking country for the last week?

We got here just to get swept and get loops of the Drive played over and over again. I'm sorry, I'm trying to feel you guys, but this doesn't sit well, and it never will.

We have to get Game 4. Have to, have to, have to.

Why do the refs treat him like a rookie?

We have him for 2 more years.

Ferry is on the clock. I also think if there's anyone who will stay, it is him. The issue wil be if the league pressures him to move to a big market due to the ratings this Finals.

Yeah, a sweep sure makes it look like title dreams are a lot further away than we all thought a few days ago.

It is great that we are here....but now that we are here, all thefans will expect now is a title and anything else will be a failure. And, this is where my issues lie with future seasons.....I jut don't know how we are going to make the necessary changes we need to make this offseason to put us over the hump (assuming we don't make a miraculous comeback and win this thing).

Maybe Ferry channels David Blain and tricks the entire league into giving us our Pippen and starting PG. Dunno. Gonna be interesting to see what Ferry does moves-wise to get into the draft and/or make roster improvements.

I'll say one thing I've learned tonight: The Cavs do need Rashard Lewis. I've refrained from threads where his name is mentioned, because I've wanted to point out that he plays the same position as LeBron, and I couldn't see either one moving from SF. However, I think LeBron, if he's willing, makes a great undersized PF and the combo of him, Lewis and Z in the frontcourt could put this team over the top next year, especially with Gibson's shooting at the 2 and Eric Snow (yes, I said Eric Snow) running the point. I know it's a small team, but I think the Cavs work best small, from what I've seen in the playoffs.

Larry Hughes better resign himself to trying to make the running for NBA Sixth Man of the Year next year, because that should be his role from now on.

NO real reason why it couldn't work.

Remember LeBron plays as much 2 & 1 as he does 3.

Why can't there be 2 3's on the court. Especially when both are very talented and one can do everything a 1, 2 or a 3 can do.

Except consistently hit a mid range shot. :x  :-x

Considering the state of the Cavs at PG, as well as with veteran on-court leadership and playoff experience, I'm still at a loss as to why we didn't make our Pippen be... Pippen.

I never did find out, is he completely out of shape, unable to perform, or was he just too picky about where he wanted to go? I'm not saying Pippen would have won us the championship, but when we've got guys active like Pollard and Wesley that don't even take off their warmups I wonder how much signing Pippen could have hurt.

Guess how many fouls Lebron finjished with?

3.

Over-fucking-coaching.

Lebron played the entire 2nd half without committing a foul. Roker is a tool. You stick with your star. Roker arguably fucked us in Game 2 and 3 sitting Lebron for supposed "foul trouble."

Except consistently hit a mid range shot. :x  :-x

Because until Flip Saunders got desperate the last series, and Popovich went small this series, Mike Brown seems to be rather set in playing personnel at certain positions.

Again, I think that LeBron should be playing the 2/3/4 based on the situation, but it's only been recently that Brown has gotten the hint that playing LeBron down low at the 4 can be a viable option. I'm hoping Brown's intellect is greater than his pride and he takes some huge lessons from this post-season, because he's got some great material to learn from.
