Nice start so far. If Gooden scores some points, he could go 20-20 tonight.

I'm wondering where Shannon Brown is going to fit in the rotation.

If both teams go small, and LeBron is playing power forward, he is unstoppable. I doubt Pops will stay with the small lineup very long.

Much better start tonight. I don't know if it's the home crowd, adjustments, or starting Boobie, but they didn't fall behind early, and now they're working with a lead, albeit a slim one. But a slim lead is much better than down by 10.

Parker, Ginobli, and to a lesser extent Duncan haven't gotten off to a torrid start, and that's really helped.

I was scared when LeBron sat down with 3 fouls, but now that Duncan has 3 as well, maybe Gooden and Z can start dominating inside. I'm not exactly scared of Oberto.

Even though LeBron has 3, he can now get a decent rest and we can build this lead with Duncan out. We have a mismatch with Gooden on Horry. He should take it inside.

Like that :)

Damn we suck at closing out 1/4's and 1/2's.

No reason we shouldn't have went to half time with a two possession lead.

Disappointing letting them go on an 8-0 run like that. Even before Horry let it go I knew it was good.

Bucket and a turnover, that's what we need.

Mentally we needed a lead at half.

Spurs having a lead after our start could spell doom.

Disappointing.

Ya know, there's a certain troll I notice everyone has been good at ignoring, but I still wonder why he only comes in to bitch when one of our teams starts losing. It's hard enough being a Cleveland sports fan without dealing with people who only seem to be happy complaining when things start to go wrong.

Trust me when I say this, you come across as nothing close to a fan.

Even driven by 100% emotion a fan is somewhat reasonable and doesn't teeter on the brink of psychosis depending on every single solitary microscopic transgression of a game, no matter what the sport.

Great you're not a Browns fan, great you're not a Cavaliers fan, when they are losing or playing bad, so again why do you bother?

There are at least 90 other professional team message boards you can voice your thoughts on if you are not a fan of the team's this site/thread are concerned with.

If you want to look smart maybe you should visit those sites.

Gotta have thicker skin, brah. Even after all this failure, when u tell it like it is in reality, most C-town fans get pissed at you as the messenger. Its just how it is.

As always, I'm just sayin'.

They got a prayer at home & are playing much better, Don't h8 on 'em hard just yet. They are playing 100% better.

Roker Milk Dud needs to just let Bron play to 6 no matter what, tho.

JFC, this is June 12th and we are still working on smart, crisp fundamental passing? Cost us 6 points this game, scratch that that last 10 minutes of play.

That would be like me still needing help with a neck tie at age 35?

I take back what I said earlier about Gooden, and apply it to Z, because Ilgauskas is a few putbacks away from being on pace for 20-20. Both are doing pretty good work on the boards (ok, Z is awesome tonight).

Z gettin it done.

Drew much better than G's 1 &2.

Bron needs to hit for us to do this.

Brown is so close to having the perfect lineup for this situation right now: Shooters around LeBron, and LeBron working from the low post. The only thing missing is Donyell at the 5 to have all the guys around LeBron's post presence be shooters.

In hindsight I agree with your lineup comment, although I wouldn't have believed it in a million years prior to this here today.

Imagine what a perimeter of Price & Ehlo or even Mills and Ferry would do with that many open looks. Yeah I said Mills and Ferry.

Nother botched called by the officials.

At least we can say the Cavs are now part of an NBA Finals record (fewest combined points in a quarter)!

Wow, Boobie should have been shooting 3 FT's.

And Bron should get the ball EVERY POSSESSION in the post. They have no answer for him down there. He'll either score, find an open guy, or get fouled.

And we could easily be up 15 if the 3 point story would be a little different. They're hitting everything, we're hitting nothing.
