Hughes says he won't start in Game 3

Windhorst also reports that Hughes sat out the shootaround this morning. Perhaps Hughes is simply taking himself out and Brown is trying to keep San Antonio guessing. I'm not sure the point of the latter approach, since it's not like they're busy game planning for Hughes.

Good. Maybe Milk Dud Head bought an ounce of sense; maybe Hughes stopped with his selfish self-aggrandizement ("Look at me! I'm playing hurt!") and decided to sit himself for the good of the team.

Snow should start. He seems to do an at-least passable job of staying in front of the Little Frenchman, and his minutes should go up, since he's seemingly the only man on the team who has any idea of what the stakes are. Boobie's minutes should go up but he still shouldn't start IMO.

As for Hughes, he should be put on the inactive list. That way, he won't have to shower and change before he hits the strip club after the game.

If Hughes is inactive (and it's hard to argue that you're too injured to start, but not too injured to play), I wonder if Shannon Brown or David Wesley dresses? It would be nice to see Brown once, but Wesley has the vet factor and couple play PG.

I'd dress Brown if Hughes goes inactive. He's someone that the Spurs haven't really seen so he can be an x factor.
