I have no problem with him as a person. He has a job to do and the Finals are not some regular season games. If the birth were occuring around game 40 or something during the regular season then I think he'd be there. This is different. I'm sure he'd like to be there, but he's got a whole city pinning their hopes on him. That's some serious pressure, yet he handles it with grace.
LeBron says the right things, steps up when he should, and doesn't get into trouble. I can't see what's not to like.
