I am opening a thread for the nine people that have witnessed soemthing greater in a Cleveland uniform than last night to come in and tell us what that moment was.

I'm not one of the 9, but the only thing I can think of that might be better is maybe something Jim Brown did. That's all I got.

Either that, or they're jealous Detroit fans.

Basketball-wise, I haven't seen many better......but in other sports there have been some unbelievable performances. That Brett Favre Monday night performance after his father died was unreal.

As for playoff performances, I am not sure many top what Lebron did last night. Didn't Isiah Thomas have a hell of a game in the 1988 NBA FInals against the Lakers with a bum ankle?

I am very interested to see the responses from these people.

A basketball game that could be mentioned is Jordan's game against Utah when he was sick and practically had to get carried off the floor.

I would expect all responses to be for a performance that was late into the playoffs of the respective sport.

how lame is it that we cant even come close to naming anything similar to what we saw last night.

Barker's perfecto certainly has some merit BUT King James did this in front of MILLIONS of people, in hostile territory, and by himself. Let's face it, the other Cavs contributed throughout the game, but from the waning seconds of regulation through the OTs it was ONE on FIVE! The other 4 Cavs on the floor acted like the ball was going to blow up in their hands.

One was an essentially meaningless game.

The other was on the penultimate stage.

Maybe Otto's last game before he retired since it was the ultimate stage?

I agree that barkers game pales in comparison to last night. But it was the best i could come up with. Which tells you how little we have to work with.

Should be a good time downtown tomorrow.

It's up to 13 now, but I'll be damned if I can come up with a topper.

Just maybe, had the Indians won the game 7 of the 1997 World Series we'd be looking at Jaret Wright's performance in that game as being on that level.

Or, if the Browns had won the playoff game against the Steelers in 2003, Holcomb's 429 passing yards might make the discussion.

The problem is the team really has to win in order for the performance to truly count.

My memories of Cleveland sports moments go back about 40 years, and LBJ's performance last night is really about the finest single game showing by an athlete wearing a Cleveland uniform that I can remember.

Barker's perfect game in '81, Frank Robinson's HR in his first at bat in his debut as the first black manager in '75 (a game I was at), Kosar passing for over 400 yds against the Jets in a playoff game in the '80s, all great moments, but LeBron's showing beats them all, IMO.
