Even though we seem to have Mo on our side for now, I'm still a bit surprised that the majority (though slight) have us winning the East now.

I would have expected the rest of the country (or at least the handful that are actually paying attention to the ECF) to still favor the Pistons given what they were able to do last year.

Just thought I'd share.

I think it best to avoid political comments in this forum, after all Ohio did go red each of the past two times out.

It's not shocking that so many are voting for the Cavs. I think part of it is a popularity contest. There are several people I know who have hated the NBA for years but LeBron has piqued their interest. They love how he carries himself and doesn't act like a punk.

I think the Cavs would be the team most everyone outside of Texas is rooting for if they make it to the NBA Finals. LeBron captures the imagination of so many people. I'm sure ABC would love to have LeBron in the Finals because a lot of people that normally wouldn't watch might be drawn in.
