Finally having a couple guys come off the bench who aren't complete zeros is helping (or hurting, depending on your mindset).

Now it's clear just how huge a cancer Jon Leuer actually was. He was obviously sucking the life out of this team for half a year.

Leuer was a self-centered egotistical ball hog. Always bitching about not enough touches. He and Kyrie ( superstar) just never seemed to get on the same court....er I mean page.

Leuer never seemed comfortable with Scott's schemes.

Rumor has it there were scuffles in the locker room. He never responded to "team only" meetings.

It was time for Jon to go.

Leuer's posse was like 150 people. Tone that the fuck down, Jon.

He might be better than Wade right now. And yes, someone needs to get him infected with mono or something, we're gonna fall out of the top 5.

They have enough picks stored up they can afford to trade up for the player they want. Give the kids a taste of winning. Besides, these things have a way of sorting themselves out. An injury to any of our bigs would mean disaster. Not that I'm hoping that happens... :bag:

Looks probable that Kyrie will be starting his first All-Star game with Rondo's injury. Methinks it's not his last.

We need one more high pick this year so I also hope we play well but stop winning. I don't want Kyrie to get injured again but some non-serious injuries to guys like Gee, Miles and Speights would be ok.

Hopefully the lakeshow keeps rolling now and get's that 8th seed in the West.

I think Conrad at FTS mentioned the Lakers can only lose around 10 more games this year if they want to sneak into that spot. Going to be hella difficult.

Cavs need to not only be in the lottery this year, but win a top 3-4 pick to get one more chance at a legit sidekick to Kyrie. They miss that this year, they could be entrenched in purgatory next year.

Next two weeks for the lake show is going to prove a lot one way or the other. They go on an extended road trip but against a lot of crappy teams. Could realistically take 7 out of their next 10 with losses to Miami, Brooklyn and maybe 1 more from Boston(ex Rondo) and/or the Slippers

If they have a good road trip they may be ok. Bad road trip and they may be done.

Saw the last four minutes on FoxOhio Saturday night, and that was as electric an offensive performance as I've seen since LeTraitor went berserk against Detroit in the playoffs in 2007.

Kyrie's didn't last as long, nor did he pile up as many points, but the kid is two years younger than LeTraitor was at the time. He's got a great future; hope it's all with the Cavs.

Went to the game Saturday. Don't go to many anymore, but wanted to go to this one. Kyrie is something special and I never quite understood Durant's length until I saw him in person. It was like old times at the Q. Also, there must be a lot of Oklahoma transplants now living in NE Ohio.

now that's some funny stuff right there!! I'll handicap the chances on that one at somewhere between absolute zero and one-half percent chance.

Nice to see the young Cavs representing themselves well over the all-star weekend.

Fully realize that this weekend is nothing but a bunch of overhyped exhibitions but it's still good to have 4 of our young guys involved in the raising stars game, Kyrie doing his thing against Brandon Knight and winning the 3 point contest.

I am surprised that so many on this board are so "cavalier" about this team and it's future. Hardly anyone even posts here any more.

Kyrie has officially been elevated to "freak" aka. "beast" status. Wow! I was one of the ones that questioned his pick at #1 back then because of his injury and limited playing time at Puke. He is the REAL f$%^cking deal. He is respected by everyone except Brandon Knight which does continue to have a hard-on for KI, having been picked in front of him. Brandon does seem to get the better of KI in their regular season match-ups, but those are BK's Super-bowls.

The young guns did show well this weekend. There is a nucleus, there are "picks" to be manipulated. If we could just get the Lakers to get their shit together. I can't f%^^&cking believe Kobie, Howard, Nash, Peace, & "fill in the blank" can't climb into #8. They should be ashamed of themselves. Dantoni is making Mike Brown look good.

We all know what we need. Scratch off PG.
