Kyrie is back and this is a really fun game. Great spin move jumpers (the one high off the glass was ridiculous).

The Lakers might be the most talented crappy team I have ever seen. Even without Pau and Nash, they should still be able to play the Cavs even, especially with all the injuries the Cavs have. Their draft pick is looking like it might be gold.

I know we can swap that pick with the Heat, but didn't the Lakers trade it to Phoenix (15th protected)? So how the hell does that work? Say the Lakers finish in the lottery, then we swap that pick with the Heat pick, and Phoenix winds up with the Heat pick?

Confused.

/Good game.

I assume Phoenix would end up with the Heat pick.

We get the Lakers pick, unless the Lakers never get it together and end up in the lottery.

We can get the Lakers pick if it isn't in the lottery. If it is, then it goes to Phx. If the Lakers pick is swapped, then Phx gets whatever pick we trade out.

So currently coming into this draft our 1st round picks are:
Cleveland
Miami (top 10 protected)
Sacramento (top 13 protected)

As long as the Lakers pick isn't in the lottery, we can swap any of those picks for the Lakers pick.

Right now, our pick is 3rd, Sacramento is 7th, Lakers is 10th, and Miami's is 25th. So currently the Lakers pick would go to Phx and we would only end up with our own pick and Miami's. The Lakers are mess, but they should be able to get into the playoffs. Hopefully they can just eek into the playoffs so that we can swap that 25th pick into a 16th or so.

Thanks. And when Nash returns...they will make the playoffs.
