I like sports at the highest level. Whatever it is. Soccer, NCAA hoops, NBA, NHL, etc. I'm not gonna not watch it.

The NBA playoffs have been outstanding with and without the Heat on the TV. So yeah, the game in general.

I get the Heat.
You get the Cavs.

First title wins $1,000,000 from the loser.

What is needed here is an independent and objective third party to hold the cash until one of the teams win a championship.

I'll do it.

BTW, if the Las Vegas Cavs or the Anaheim Cavs win a title before the Miami Heat wins one does it still count?

I think you're missing something.

It ain't about LeBron being a piece of shit douchenozzle. He is. But that's personal. This is bidnis.

And if you want to talk money Pup is willing to give you odds. If you're willing to take them I want in on some of that action too.

Exactly, nobody is taking that straight up.

RIght now the odds of the Cavs winning a title is 1:20,000. For recreational purposes only, of course...

I guess I'm not understanding you. What is the notch in your growing lack of giving a shit about sports? Is it that Lebron is a douche? Or is it that Pup (and me and others) think that Miami is still more likely to win a championship than the Cavs, despite the Cavs recent good fortune in the lottery?

Wait. If someone puts a gun to my wife's head and tells me to pick a team that will win the NBA championship sometime in the next 5 years I'm not saying the Cavs just because they're my favorite team.

Are you saying that somehow makes me less loyal?

It's almost like a religious thing, not the rape, their is no answer for it other then the slimest of mathematical odds until James wins it or the Cavaliers are actually contenders, and faith/loyalty/irrational things.

Glad he has at least learned that if you are going to rush one out you have to push the other.

No way either of those is released if it wasn't a Heat player that started it.

Pay no attention to e0y everyone.

He is just upset that I have supplanted him as the board's preminent expert all things technological, electronical, and whizbangy. When people have a problem with their VCRs, walkmans, and TV clickers, he is no longer the person that they turn to, and he thus feels a bit useless.

It's kind of sad and pathetic, but it is also natural and understandable.

So everyone, feel free to ask me any of your more difficult and in depth questions. But if it's something a little more simple, go ahead and throw e0y a bone. It'll make him feel better...more useful. Like a dog pulling a sled, he just wants to be loved and make people happy.

Dawg, I dig your style too, man. Got that whole "I'm a bulldog" thing goin' on.

And while I appreciate the compliment, and would like to think that I'm kind of laid back about stuff, I think it's a little closer to truth to say I'm too stupid to realize when someone is making fun of me.

As to your question, only when appropriate...like on weekends and holidays.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go, folks piling up MeBron. Let this thing play out because taking umbrage in his "potential" demise is premature.

He is the biggest reason as to why they made it to the Finals. To dismiss his abilities and stupidity until the games are over still makes me a bit nervous.

If/when they lose, then have at it and I will agree with you, sort of.

Madre- You're like Shin Soo Choo on a booze filled drive through Sheffield Lake. You're all over the place on this.

It was an equal partnership before? When Wade wasn't shooting at all well and while James was closing out and dominating the C's and Bulls and doing whatever he wanted to the Karl Malone Memorial MVP winner?

It was equal then between James and Wade?
But this isn't now? This is James going French/Irish with his LeQuitagain? Tell me why this isn't the Heat playing to the stengths of the matchup this series as it was the last two. And yeah, he was pathetic and sad last night. No doubt.

So what is it today? No way the Heat win with 3 Men and some slop or is it destiny?

Pick a position please.

Consider the right one: Great, great player who's a douchebag/jagoff/asshole.

I love how this thread gets hit by some troll or another every 12th playoff game where LeDick looks disinterested.

Same fucking troll is silent the three weeks in between.

Dwayne Wade would have something to say about that. That was an equal partnership right up until the Finals.

Yes, its amazing I can fit my viewpoint around changing facts instead of being like Lee stomping up and down about how he was right all along.

That said, I've believed all along the Heat had two MVP-caliber players. Undeniable fact. But I've also believed that James wasn't better than Wade. Not worse, but not better. On a talent and skill level, sure, but everyone knew who had the balls in that relationship the instant the party went to DWade's backyard. Last night - heck, the entire series to this point - only added more fuel to that fire.

4 games decided by a total of 15 points, 3 decided on the last shot.

Even if that was a sweep I was right all along.

And I’m not even sure how in the fuck you are dragging me into this.

Hmmm.... what, pray tell, did the previous two series tell you about those relationships? The series that were played with Wade as shadow puppet.

The facts haven't changed. Those two guys are no different today than they were a week ago, two weeks ago, or two years ago.

But while the facts haven't changed (and the match ups have) your viewpoints seem to be spinning like Jason Terry on an intricate inbound play.

I'm suggesting that if you opinions change on a game by game or series by series basis then those opinions weren't too deeply rooted to begin with and/or that they weren't based on much more than emotion as opposed to fact.

Shouldn't be huge pendulum swings at this point. Getting dizzy reading those. ;-) ;)

Wade as the 'shadow puppet'? Right backatcha.

Ridiculous huh? I have an issue with board peers failing to understand hyperbole.

I should have said "Partner" I guess. Or maybe "Somewhat more silent partner"?

I fear if this series goes seven games your doctor will simply not know what meds to put you on given your inclination to either depression, resignation or elation.

The good news though is that no matter how the series ends up you can legitimately say you knew it all along. :thumb up:

Christ is was a simple question.

Bron pulled a choke job again last night, and everyone outside of this forum called it like it is. And if anyone knows a choke job, it should be a veteran Cleveland sports fan...

Might as well go ahead and call me an ass hole, I rooted against the Baltimodell Ravens in Super Bowl 35. What the fuck was I thinking? :spanky:
