Technically I believe this would be a simple hex. Isn't the anti-hex rooting against the team you want to win so you don't jinx them? So this would be the opposite - maybe the inverse anti-hex? Or the anti-aanti-hex? Of course, you have a point in that we are rooting for a non Cleveland team to fail, so maybe it's some type of parallel universe hex?

I bet there's a parallel universe in which Cleveland has all the titles and a booming economy.

Can we visit? How do you get there? You can drive. I'll buy the beer and gas.

None of that will matter if James cannot, at long last, solve the Celtics. He is 26, eight years into his career and playing in his sixth postseason. He has two Most Valuable Player awards but only one finals appearance and zero rings. James has legitimate help now — the flashy teammates he wanted, in the city he chose — and no excuses for failure

Also, hard to believe this is the first time the Lakers and Mavericks have met in the postseason since the '88 WCF. You'd think they would have collided at some point over the last decade.

Dallas has a bench and the Lakers don't (at least last night). I have this sick feeling that Miami is going to win it and that with each series, things get easier. Someone, help me, please...............................
