Eli Manning came under a great amount of criticism for pulling the stunt he did in the '04 draft. WTF is wilbon talking about?

doesn't this sort of go against what MLK jr. was preaching? I thought it was supposed to be not judging a person by race, but by a man's character.

Race had very little to do with the backlash in c-town, if this was some mormon guy from BYU with blonde hair and blue eyes, who pulled the exact same stunt, don't you think the reaction would have been the same?

well and isn't that what it all boils down to? WWL has been doing that for over a decade or so. Creating the story instead of reporting it, really.
