Cavs v. Lakers Thread

Unread postby motherscratcher » Wed Jan 12, 2011 1:19 am

I just turned on the Cavs game at the end of the third.

Down 92-41.

I don't even have a joke for that.

C'mon guys, we get the same amount of ping pong balls if we keep it within 40 points. No need to embarrass yourselves.

68 is the worst defeat ever...Interestingly enough it was the Cavs over the Heat... Looks like we are losing our grip on taking over the worst defeat.

Yeah, doesn't look like they're going to make it.

Where did your thread go Ziner? I thought it was pretty funny that we've had about 2 game threads in the last 2 months and both you and I started one tonight within 2 minutes of each other.

What? They're not even going to foul? They're just giving up?

Haha, saw yours was first, figured I would make one for the possibility of history being made, but this team even fucks up that.

LeBron's tweet;

Re: the tweet

Yep, all our fault for daring to question his actions. I'm pretty sure I'm done with the NBA.

I hope the Cavs don't let this 1-20 stretch get them down.

If karma was a bitch LeBron would have tore both patella tendons opening night. He probably just feels comfortable that he has Zarma on his side.

I was strongly considering going down to catch the Cavs on Saturday. I am going skiing and watching football instead. They aren't worth my entertainment dollars. For half the price of a ticket I can pay for a tank of gas, a 12'er of Colorado Brew and a pizza. Fuck um.

MeBron seems to be content with fanning flames to a dying fire every few weeks. Aside from Gilbert's diatribe against MeBron, there has to be some real stuff that took place between the two sides. I just wish some things would surface. MeBron's commentary is doofus-like and I am predicting an injury to him or one of his running mates here soon. :hide:
"It's all about winning for me, and I think the Cavs are committed to doing that," he said. "But at the same time I've given myself options to this point, and like I said before, me and my team, we have a game plan that we're going to execute, and we'll see what we get."

"We had a great time together."
