I know the C's game is first but we need some build up for this showdown.

Watch out for this man
Image

He's got some shit that needs sayin' he was very vocal before the season started and I hope he makes his feelings known and endear himself further among the Clevelanders. If he hugs that back stabber in the pre-game then I'll be pissed.

It's games like this that make you wish we still had a guy like Tractor Traylor to dish out some bruises and bumps. Anyone else expecting some roughness and physicality this Thursday night?

I still cannot believe what a monumental lump of cock LeBron is.
I want a fallen king's blood on that court, this is no time for rectitude.

Christ. Mo Williams made some comments? Other than "I might retire".

You can respect JJ and his hideous gold shoes with his Tin Man / Cowardly Lion combo platter?

Go Cavs.

I'm really hoping for something historic to happen, and I don't care what it is. I think you're probably right, though.

People will boo a lot. The Heat will kick our ass. tWoA will get a shitload of points and preen and make faces and glances and pretty much confirm what everyone already knows about him...he's a great player and a giant doucheface.

But, the "Holy Shit I can't believe that happened!" moment that I'm hoping for is very unlikely.

Albert Belle has chimed in.

From Calceterra:
http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/01/albert-belle-voice-of-reason/

LeBron James is heading back to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers tomorrow night. It’s probably going to get hostile. Thankfully, we have Albert Belle around to play the part of the sage peacemaker:

From one Cleveland villain to another, Albert Belle hopes LeBron James and Cavaliers fans can play nice Thursday at the Q. “My advice to LeBron is to take the high road and act professional. I hope the fans do the same.”

And if they don’t, he’s going to throw a ball at them, stalk them, hit them with a corked bat, unleash a profanity-filled tirade at them and quite possibly try to run them down in his truck.

You know, professional stuff.

I like Craig. He's a funny dude. :thumb up:

We had some 10 year old girl screatching "Make it!" 4 rows behind me every single GD time the Celtics had the ball last night.

I'd take hackneyed over that. Still can't hear in the right ear correctly.

I am dvring this in hopes of a debacle. The Raab article sums it up, we are supposed to behave so the national media is nice to us. Fuck them. Let your frustations out. I hope Gloria is there and someone pours a Tsingtao on her fucking head. Also hoping for some sort of projectile to be given away to all the fans. Duracell battery night, Pet rock night, etc... billy club night would be entertaining as well.

Win or lose I want him afraid to enter that building for the rest of his career.

Any chance Gilbert could replace the talcum with anthrax?

Joking of course...mostly.

I cannot wait for this game.
Obviously I want a win but I think we used up our genie wishes with the beat down on Opening Night.
A poor display from LeBron showing that he wilts under any kind of pressure would be just darling.

Wade can score 60 for all I care

So how many PSA's, asking Cavs fans to be vocal but civil, do you think the FO plans on playing before the game in the concourse and on the scoreboard before the game? I'm sure Stern and the NBA have requested the Cavs provide some sort of deterrent before Stern's Dream Team takes the floor.

Saw this morning that Heat fan who got tossed from Tribe game will be in attendance w/ 7 of his buddies. If you can't do anything to LBJ, take it out on this guy.

I actually think his former teammates' reactions to seeing him may set the tone for the evening. I am very curious to see what Williams and Varejao do when they see him? I am hoping for a photo op with one of them with a foot on LBJ's larynx.

If it's all hugs and daps before hand, I may turn the game off.

I'm sure Gilbert has spoken, thru B. Scott, saying that any interaction with James that doesn't involve a hard foul, will not be tolerated.

Is it too late to sign Oak or Anthony Mason to a 10 day'er? Hell, bring in Billy Laimbeer to open up a head or two.

Another Hollins windmill to the head would be fine. Although like I said, it'll be hugs and kisses as usual.

Only because the heads of David Stern and Billy Hunter will appear over the court like the great Oz to make sure everyone makes nice-nice.

You've gone to quoting Sonny to me. :salute:

I know that's how it is and I'm sure the NBAPA made sure to remind these guys to um, stick together. It'd just be nice to think that just once the players would think for themselves.

Someone put LBJ in the bat'room tonight

I hope this game lives up to my desires. I've built it up with all sorts of hyperbole to convince my girlfriend to watch it with me tonight.
I want hard fouls, elbow, flagrant 1's and 2's, pushing shoving off the ball. Le Decision flying into the stands and taking a fat camera lens in the groin.

Not sure I can envision anyone giving LBJ a little kiss to the floor upon his entrance into the paint. But, given his penchant for wanting to dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, shoot, not sure he will enter that domain. Must see TV fo sho.

Not surprisingly ESPN is already pre-packaging his excuse should the Heat lose this game. Just saw this on the ticker: Heat landed in Cleveland around 2:30 AM after reporting wing flap issue. I'm sure this happens hundreds of times throughout the season and not once have I ever seen ESPN report on it. Gotta protect their investment.

I wouldn't read too much into pregame handshakes and maybe some smiles. Chalk it up to professional interaction. We've all been in professional situations where we've had to be nice to people we don't really like that much. These guys are still at work tonight.

Having said that, I don't think there is going to be a lot of casual friendliness between Bron and the Cavs players, beyond handshakes. He might have shanked Cleveland on national TV in July, but he also went on national TV and told every Cavs player from last season, "I deserve better than you."

Even Windhorst, he who now also lives on South Beach, thinks Bron should steer clear of trying to sugar up his ex-teammates too much. The emotions from over the summer are still raw.

I don't expect war tonight, but I do expect the Cavs players, particularly Andy and Mo, will play with an edge.

Could see a real letdown for the Cavs following this game. Mo Williams is calling it Game 7 of the NBA Finals, most likely because he knows the Cavs won't even see a Game 1 of the first round. But with a winnable weekend road trip coming up, the emotion put forth for this game could wind up disastrous.

Although if it is like a playoff game, the Quitness will live up to his name.

I'd be happy if at every break they played G-L-O-R-I-A and showed old Delonte highlights.

I still want to see someone have a sign in the crowd aka Doc Holliday from Billy the Kid....

"Lebron this isn't revenge. It's a reckoning"

Cleveland has a score to settle with this punk. A picture of Lebron getting a beer dumped on his head as he enters or leaves the court should be in the Websters dictionary next to the word reckoning.

Which part would be the reckoning?

The part where the Heat kick the holy hell out of the Cavs? Or the part where LeBron possibly gets a little wet and sticky from beer forcing him to send Windhorst into the locker room to fetch him a new jersey?
According to my sources CDT farts in the tub and bites the bubbles.

Mo Williams is going to play like it is a big playoff game? So much for the Cavs pulling one out.

He might have shanked Cleveland on national TV in July, but he also went on national TV and told every Cavs player from last season, "I deserve better than you."

You got that 100% right.

The only thing is with this bunch there's no toughness.

I'd put more money on Andy and Mo breaking out in "Hopelessly Devloted to You" than I would them going all Mahorn on Bron.

They may play hard, but it is still Andy, Mo and Boobie playing hard. Bron is gonna bring monster effort.

This is gonna end up just being another embarssment for Clevelnd, except the embarassment will happen between the lines. The types of fans at the Q will skulk away quietly and it'll be empty by qauretr 4, with TWOA preening and the Bron camp fulfilled.

A reckoning is coming, but not the one we want.

People will boo a lot. The Heat will kick our ass. tWoA will get a shitload of points and preen and make faces and glances and pretty much confirm what everyone already knows about him...he's a great player and a giant doucheface.

That's pretty much what I expect to happen tonight. Number Six will probably drop in 40 plus on the Cavs. Seriously, who can guard him?

Forget this bullshit "after they wipe the floor with us" crap. For the love of God lets ditch the uber rational, acceptance of our fate. They aren't Jordan's Bulls. They have bean beat, they are playing like shit. In the last emotional game at the Q this rag tag beat a Boston team that just whooped on these fags. They just got into town, and are on the second of a back to back.

Let's strap on some balls and have some confidence. There will be time after the game to be intelligent and wallow. Let's kick some GD ass, yeaaaaaa!

I like it.

Along with Bron telling her to sit her ass down and include her mug shots.

Go at the Momma angle.

If only Gilbert would do that...
