Cavs vs. Bulls for the #2 seed-update

Considering the situation, it really has set up as nicely as possible for the Cavs. They have a favorable schedule for the last 3 games; Atlanta home, at Phily, Milwaukee home. Milwaukee is the second worst road team in the NBA. Atlanta has played the Cavs tough this year, but they play in Atlanta the night prior so I doubt they will geared up for back-to-back nights being how they are out of the playoffs. That leaves at Phily as the troublesome game. Phily has won 3 in a row as they hope to miraculously win the 8 seed. By the time Cleveland goes there hopefully they will be mathematically eliminated and roll over.

Chicago’s schedule is Charlotte home, at Washington, at New Jersey. They should whack Charlotte and Washington, especially since Washington has lost 6 in a row due to injuries. At NJ may be their downfall. Chicago is currently 17-22 on the road and NJ is 22-17 at home. NJ can still finish anywhere from 6-8 seed so hopefully this game will have meaning to NJ.

Yes, Philly is the danger game. I do business with a guy in Philly ... the fans there are furious that they are pissing away Oden/Durant ping pong balls with inspired play down the stretch.

Atlanta is on the 2nd of B2B's and Josh Smith is out for the year. The Milwaukee game is fan appreciation night at the Q. Will be a packed and raucous crowd, getting geared for the playoffs, and the game will have playoff implications.

Hopefully that last Bulls game has implications still for Jersey ...

Cavs have no excuse for not winning out. Problem is, the Bulls could very well do the same.

I have a feeling that the Cavs/Bulls both finish 3-0 or 2-1 in this final three game stretch.

But, really, this is the fault of the Cavaliers. If they had played inspired ball the first half of the year, they'd have clinched the #2 seed long ago.

Man, get that #2 seed, and you are pretty much a lock for the EC Finals.

They're playing good right now, and have alot of good young players. I like what they're doing over there. Had they not been besieged with injuries, they'd likely be in that 8 seed.

Bulls have been so good at home though. 10 point favorites tonight, which tells you alot.
