Why is anyone worried? Greg Brinda predicted we will all be with him at the Clevelander on Tuesday for the ECF, Cavs v Magic. The man is on the radio, he has to be right! :hide:

LeBron's trying to be the Willis Reed of Cleveland and we're labeling a quitter because of it.

No doubt in my mind he's going to need surgery on that elbow the minute the season ends.

I like that Cavalier girl in the ad to the right of the record...

Edit to add:
Not the right song, didn't bother to actually listen. This is that funky studio jazz of the early 80's. Not Michael Stanley bad...

Damn, I only clicked on it for the Cavs girl. All I got was some shitty Continental ad.

I'm just not ready for this season (and maybe even this era) of Cavs basketball to be over.

If it ends tonight in Boston, as Teddy KGB would say "I'd feel so unsatisfied."

If their first O set is the same dump down low to Shaq, leading to brick off the back iron job, it might be the shortest I have ever watched a Cavs playoff game in a lifetime.

PLEASE! PLEASE! Bring the fire tonight!

ps..wore the same shirt I had on when they rolled in game 3, and absolutely forbade the students to say "Boston" "Celtics" or "elbow" all day. I did my part.

When I went back, it loaded the same ad in the place of the Cavalier girl thing. Anyhow the CG page was a letdown, too many words, too few pictures...

For Ziner... Tell me if that music doesn't belong in a sleazy club. I love it!

Well, when Windy describes LeBron as "loose" at the morning shootaround, what do you think he's talking about?

straight up,my expectations for this team are in the toilet...if they win tonight sweet,if not,i honestly wont be bummed out because this team has give ZERO effort in this series in my opinion...how a team can totally flake out like this after winning 60+ games for the 2nd consecutive year is so amazing to me...so i will take as much effort in being a fan as they are playing the game

Finally having our weaknesses exposed in a multi-game series and bitch-egos about PT will do it everytime...

It's more amazing to me that it's taken this long with this team?

The coaches/players have a lot to prove tonight to an entire organization & city who has put in a ton of money, time & effort to support em

pretty bad, espn's already acting like this is the end of LBJ's career in cleveland. just very much a "funeral" like feel to all of it in a way.

That's the funniest shit I've read here in a couple weeks. Thank you. Hour before game and you can cut the anxiety in home with a knife so it was a welcome respite.

Yeah, he's exactly like Willis Reed except for the fact Reed didn't publicize his injury or allude to it, Reed actually inspired his teammates by taking the floor and Reed's club won the title.

The night Willis Reed limped out on the floor at MSG was voted the greatest moment in MSG history and wasn't the worst playoff loss in franchise history.

I think he's closer to Dwight Freeney right this second. I seem to recall Freeney may have had an ankle issue or something before the SB?

YMMV

THAT, Mr Exiled sir, was AWESOME!

I'm ready to go out to a bar, find some mope in Celtics gear, and pummel him on the spot after watching that.....ok, in reality, I'm ready to go pummel a bunch of shots and convince my bigger pals to go pummel that guy.

There are a million reasons why LBJ and Willis Reed are different. Talent, era, teammmates, media covg, etc. Let's just say that instead of comparing the situations.

I'll just say he appeared to leave his mates and his fans much less inspired with his outing Tuesday than Reed did 40 years ago. ;-) ;)

GHCS is in there as well. I'm not ragging on him either. Just saying most of us and most media members aren't really comparing the 'effort' to Willis Reed any more than to Roberto Duran ;-) ;)

Good point. :thumb up:

Now, six minutes in we should have a pretty good idea which direction this game is going.

I've stayed away from sports talk radio and every interweb site today except TCF. Have decided to watch the game without sound. No negative waves allowed. Good luck boys. See y'all manana - hopefully Watt starts a Game 7 thread before I log on.

5 minutes in and shooting 33%.. not exactly the start anyone hoped for. Boston looks like a hungry team ready to put this away.

I'm going pure tonight.

No booze, just a nice dipper.

Going to fire the game up in about 45 minutes to cut most of the commercials and really get into the flow.

Dinner first, then a nice shower.

:salute:

Only 1 Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA left, and it's not enough. Gonna have to resort to Bud Light. Down 9, and might be opening the whiskey soon.
