Ryan Russillo pointed out something awesome from the Nets game about Andy. Something you wouldn't notice unless you just happened to be watching Andy at the right time.

On a botched Nets scoring attempt (semi fast break) he was headed in to crash the boards and noticed that Shaq was already in position to get the board. He stopped dead in his tracks, turned around and cut off the guy near him. Most guys don't play that smart in the league.

legit concern....no one within miles of them while shooting. Help defense can get better, though....just sucks to waste such a hot start.

Yeah, because those guys weren't in the game. The guys in the game were West and Boobie, as you pointed out. Not exactly a tall lineup.

You have to start with slowing down Dewey. Don't let him get off, and if the shameless gunners beat you so be it.

To me it looks like Orlando's D, cannot deal with a lot of motion, so Brown can't let them get stagnate. The fear of Lebron has these guys rotating slowly, missing cutters etc. Sure winning starts on D, but you have to punish missed 3's with energy.

yeah and that's the problem. everyone knows the refs work for the mob, err, nba and they don't want no team from the rust-belt beating their favorite teams from the warmer climes and the bigger tv venues. it's just not good for business.

that being said, the first team to start playing some defense will be the one that wins. hopefully it's the cavs.

by the way, tim donaghy once said that the easiest way to affect a betting line is to call more fouls to send more players to the foul line to score when the clock is stopped. those people then that bet the "over" will be very happy, namely the same aforementioned "mob".
