sorry but i just don't get it. i gave up "sesame street" when i was in kinnygarden and the "muppets" when i was in grade school. although i did go check out "the muppet movie" at the theater when i was junior high, but only because i got to go with a group of girls. the only puppets i care to watch anymore are the ones that have a little bit of an edge to them like jeff dunham's "walter" and "achmed the dead terrorist". silence, i keel you!!! meanwhile, these mvpuppets make me want to gouge out my eyes from boredom.

Dunham - Good entry level stuff for my sons. In fact I think the 15 year old is past it. I haven't seen either one reference him lately. And who is that 12 year old looking dweeb on Comedy Central? Jimini Cricket or Martin, or something I don't know if he's on there anymore. Back when he had some variety show I pretended to think he was funny with them.

That was shite parenting, they probably needed to hear the truth. I had no problem telling them the godawful pain Taylor Swift's duet with Stevie Nicks at the grammy's caused down below, but they hate her so it's not like I was offending them.

(I am still recovering from that cluster-fvck of a performance).

i think my main problem with jeff dunham is he moves his lips while he is talking for the puppet...that's not ventriliquism (sp)...it's moving your lips while your talking for a puppet...

The first time through I was listening to the dialogue, and it's true it's not that great. Then I just watched it again for the visuals, and I can't stop laughing. A Big Z puppet! His earnest expression while handslapping. The poster at the begining of Afro styles (and the older black and white one next to it.) Z's entrance line "Do you want to buy some DVDs?"

yes, absolutely loved the lebrons. i thought they were supposed to make a movie with them a-la eddie murphy in "the klumps". if spike lee could make multiple movies with mars blackmon, surely lebron could do "the lebrons" at least once. lebron said he wants to be a global icon??? well then he's going to have to start doing movies and having popular songs wrote about him like michael jordan had with "space jam" and "i believe i can fly".

There's at least 2-3 Jay-z songs that talk about Lebron directly....coupled with his ad campaigns, SNL appearance, ESPY's hosting (what a disaster that was) and "More than a Game" and you can easily argue that Lebron is just as much a public figure as Jordan ever was.

Dmitri Martin and Jeff Dunham are both f$cking worthless and utterly un-funny. And to Motherscratcher, I agree there are a ton of people who are successful and make a $hitload of money without having a god damn lick of talent. Hell, look at all the music that has been released over the past 10-12 years. Its junk. Its just defeating thinking about intolerable, no talent assclowns like Michael Bolten who have large followings because people are idots or slugs who like whatever is trendy.
