Nothing comes even close.

First couple rows behind the Dish to watch a Sabathia/Verlander type matchup ... excellent. Both nothing even compares with first 5 rows of a NBA game. The things you see, hear ... the quality of the athletes, especially with a specimen like LeBron, who up close, appears like he was made in a factory and not born from a womb. The smell of the marijuana they smoked on the way into the game still prevalent. The level of neglect they show the coaches on time outs when they're trying to talk to the team and draw up plays.

It's fan-tastic.

All along, I have assumed that there was a hair-trigger button on Dwayne Wade's forearm which, when touched ever-so-slightly, causes him to collapse to the floor.

Did-not-know actual contact is not necessary.

Maybe the button activates the official's whistle.

I went up a few times in the Darius Miles/Ricky Davis years and sat within the 3rd row, once right behind the knicks bench.

Amazing view, and you are just astounded at what freaks these guys are. My brain is dead but the knicks game might have been Lebron's first year, but I don't think so because it seems like my source that got me cheap seats at the last minute dried up when LBJ hit the scene. We had to come up from the Warren area, and got a 12 pack one year. As we walked in, for the Lake Show game my kids got selected for Cavs kids club. The sit them right down on the baseline through warmups. They gave the kids these disposable cameras and a fake press pass and told them they are reporters and have to get pictures.

I was just looking at the photos last night, and any of the big guys they snapped were so mangled. Don't think little guys have the dexterity to shoot a nice pic. Shaq was in street clothes that night.

Gigglesnorted at my desk over this. I think every time he dunks or makes a tough basket and flexes his bicep, the jumbotron should flash a picture of him crying on the floor for fouls after someone blows on him or makes a "grr" face.

By his formula, there aren't too many teams with multiple players that can get their own shot.

Chuck just took a 1st half of one game and is making blanket statements about the Cavs. He's done this for years so why is this year or time any different. Shame too, because sometimes he actually makes some salient points about teams or games. He's just always been too lazy, just like when he was a player.

Maybe he'd be better on a different team, but I don't see him doing much more for that team than Udonis Haslem does. Quietest 21 and 12 I've ever seen.

I think a lot of heat fans feel the same way; say he disappears for large stretches of games and doesn't take enough shots.

That being said, he's the only other scoring option on that team. With a better nucleus, he'd be money.

I just gave up my last hope of Ced ever getting a chance at some real minutes. If he didn't play tonight he never will. At least he got 20 days in the show. Hopefully he gets another 10 day with a crappy team once the Cavs let him go so he can actually play.

Gotta love the way this team keeps stepping up. Insane that we can beat a playoff contender without our top three point guards.
