(Minor threadjack)

Windy: "Not sure if this is surprising, probably not, but J.J. Hickson was not invited to be on sophomore team for Rookie Challenge."

Starting PF for the team with the best record in the league, and he's not even going to sniff the rookie-sophomore challenge. And it's not close to a snub. It's not remotely shocking that he wasn't even considered.

J.J. had better enjoy his time masquerading as a starting PF on a contender, because it isn't going to last much longer.

Hopefully. With those guys out, we need to watch LBJ's minutes. A blowout game or two would allow MB to cut some 4Q minutes down for him.

I would anticipate a highly motivated Minny team tonight. They were embarrassed by the LeBron Whores last night, and they're going to be playing said LeBron tonight. Take the embarrassment factor and combine it with the "This is their NBA Finals" factor, and the Wolves are going to be pulling out all the stops tonight.

On top of that, the Cavs have a long history of playing down to their opponents, and the opportunity is there to play WAY down to the Wolves. There is absolutely nothing about Minny that is going to get the competitive juices flowing.

This might be another ugly game that the Cavs need to pull out in the fourth quarter.

Probably my only real chance to see Cedric Jackson play real minutes. Come on Cavs, don't play down to the competition!

So true. Even with Mo and Delonte out , this should be over in quarter # 1. Who do they have that can stop Shaq? LeBron? (for that matter who does anybody have that can stop LeBron?) Hell, even JJ might look like a real starter in this game!

Ever since Ron Artest became more of a plow ox than a stallion, I'd agree. There are many Willie Mays "The only guy who could have caught that ball was the guy who hit it" moments with LeBron.

EDIT: As an aside, who are the top defenders of LBJ as of right now?

My top two would be S-Jax and Shane Battier. There are probably a couple more ahead of Ron Ron at this point.

Transitive property at its finest:

Cavs beat lakers by 6
Lakers beat Dallas by 35
Dallas beats Knicks by 50
Knicks beat TWolves by 27

Accordingly, I got Cavs over TWolves by 118 points

Pietrus did a passing decent job last year, and Pierce can still beef up passably well when he wants to. But those two you mentioned seem to be 1 and 1a.

Hopefully the official's no-call and subsequent tech lit LBJ's fuse. Or Hickson can go for 40. ;-) ;)

Shaq hits a cutting Z for a dunk, Z reciprocates for a Shaq dunk moments later. Nice.

Nicer if cock around time ends soon and they put some space between themselves and the Wolves.

One of the funniest moments all season. Some 6-9 188 pound kid took a charge on Shaq so Shaq simply fell on him in a move eerily reminiscent of the Kamala splash.

Quickly, someone text/email a question into FSN Ohio and ask Mo if he'll be there for the playoffs this year or if he'll miss them again for the 2nd consecutive season.

lol low blow. Some funny moments with him though with LBJ throwing the warm up at him and Mo giving it to Boobie about the Bama victory.

I think Hickson has stick em on his hands today. He's come away with some nice catches on the run.

Let's get this and keep this lead at 20 or thereabouts so I can see some Ced Jackson down the stretch. Still needs his first NBA hoop.

Gerald Wallace is another that seemed to strike me at first thought. Maybe Deng, sometimes. Really no one when he has his jumper going though. He's impossible.

I've been trying to watch the Sixers - Bucks game instead of Minny, but I actually started to ache for the rims.

How good did Boobie look tonight? Very aggressive going to the hole, had a few nice finishes at the rim, and didn't try to do too much. I was impressed by the whole teams discipline tonight against a crappy T-wolves squad.

He completely dominated the game with an astronomical +/- of -11 in 14 minutes played.

What were they thinking giving up Sasha and Wallyworld for J-Moon and AP?? :bag:

In all seriousness, though, it was good to see Jamario have a strong game coming back from injury. If we can get Delonte back as quickly and as strongly, Mo should be able to take his time healing that shoulder.
