The Suns own the Hawks 1st round pick this year if it's not a top five pick.

Presently, the Hawks have the 6th worst record in the NBA. And this is going to be one of the most loaded drafts in NBA history.

Oden, Durant, Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Brandan Wright from UNC if he comes out. All are #1 pick material.

Theres another Chinese 7 footer making alot of waves. Spencer Hawes from Washington is 7'0 and top ten pick material. As is Aaron Gray from Pitt. Hibbert from GTown.

Wings ... you've got Julian Wrght from Kansas. Jeff Green from Georgetown. Alando Tucker from the Badgers. Nick Fazekas from Nevada.

With Nash and Barbosa, the Suns don't need a PG. But if they did, this draft has alot of those too. Acie Law from A&M, Affalo from UCLA, Taurean Green from Fla, Aaron Brooks from Oregon.

Fuck you Jiri Welsch.

It is amazing how many choices well run franchises seem to have, while teams like the Cavs only seem to be able to rival those choices with limitations.

I think I may make that my sig.

Shit, it's gonna be real tough to buy a pick in the Top 25 this year. And D'Antoni was salivating over the prospect of having that pick in Shaw's awful Sunday morning page two column this morning.

I dont think Phx. has 3 roster spot openings after this year. I can see Gilbert buying the Cavs pick back.

Ahhh ... I feel ya.

Forgot that Phoenix is the one that has our pick, getting it from Boston in the Rondo deal.

That makes sense.

I'd push my gramma down the stairs to get Acie Law (or Mike Conley for that matter) on this team.

You can thank the signing of Danny Ferry for all our troubles with picks and free agency, the signing of him as a player not a GM.

Joakim Noah is FAR from a #1 pick, you would have to be extremely stupid to take him that high.

I pretty much agree. He is an energy player more than anything and energy players are NOT lottery picks.

However I have watched him more than this year than last and will admit he has more skills then he gets credit for, they just don't show up very often.

I think the decision makers in the NBA might see a lot of potential there, warranting him, in their minds, as a higher pick then us.

He needs to bulk up to be effective in the NBA.

If he gets on the right team he will be really effective. Let's say he falls to Phoenix. I agree he's not the number 1, and I like Andy, but he has waaay more offensive game than Andy already, and will block shots.
