Would you take any of these guys? They are rumored to be bought out by Thursday deadline. I would consider it if it was reasonable deal and I think the Cavs still have half of their MLE (I believe 3 mil).

Steve Francis - PG
Chucky Atkins - PG
Jamaal Magloire - C

Buff emailed me a snippet of an ESPN Insider piece from Hollinger in which he intimated that Chucky A would be a perfect fit here, and how he was horrified Ferry didn't try to get him.

Id be surprised if they didn't make a run at him if he gets bought out.

I read that. I know Miami will be in the market but Im not sure what kind of cap room they have. They seriously need to try and do something since DWADE went down.

If I am not mistaken, if those players are bought out, teams can then sign them at min deals.

I'd take all three. Yes, even Stevie Franchise.

Nobody who has winning in their best interest will sign Steve Francis. How classic would that be for the Cavs to sign him and watch him hoist up 30 footers while Lebron is standing on the wing looking like he's ready to just kill someone.

Lebron already does just stand around too much.

No, perfect Cavs form would not be to sign Stevie Franchise for the rest of the season.

Perfect form for the Cavs would be to cut expiring contracts to make room for him and then sign him to a 6 year deal.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.
