And for all who continue to bitch about no positive coverage of the Cavs on ESPN, puh-leez. Jeff Van Gundy has been sucking LeBron's dick for about a month now. I believe he even called him the greatest SF ever, with no disrespect meant to Bird. Marc Jackson went the politically correct route and called him the 2nd best ever, but said he will be at #1 with 2 more years on his resume.

Sometimes I read these boards and think some people just watch an endless loop of Skip Bayless.

leave it to the espn talking heads to put a damper on things. before and after the game, mark jackson and jeff van gundy were asked who they thought were the best teams in the nba. only van gundy had the balls to give it to the cavs both before and after the game. jackson said it was the lakers both times. what a piece of shit. did he not just watch the cavs completely dominate the celtics for 4 quarters???

later on, at the half of the phoenix-dallas game, avery johnson and jamal mashburn were asked who the best player in the nba is and johnson said kobe and jamal said lebron is just as good as kobe, but didn't really say who was better. can somebody please tell me how many championships has kobe won since lebron came into the league??? um, zero. kobe is still living off the 3 titles he won as robin to shaq's batman. he ain't done shit since he's been by himself except make one trip to the finals just last year and it took the pau gasol trade (otherwise known as "the fleecing of memphis") for him to get there.

johnson went on to flap his extremely annoying jaws about how lebron playing with kobe in the olympics helped him to learn the importance of playing better defense. excuse me??? i think it has more to do with being coached by a defensive genius like mike brown and being around a hard-working cuss like ben wallace moreso than kobe "jelly-bean" bryant.

once again a cleveland team gets absolutely zero respect from the national media. fuck 'em, fuck 'em all. until such time that the cavs finally do win the title this year (and they will win it too) they will just continue to pull this kind of crap. i honestly think all it does is motivate lebron and the cavs even more. we can only hope. go cavs!!!

Only freaking C-town fans could cry about 50% of the commentators saying the team with the best record in the league was worse than the Cavs and less than 50% of the people I heard tonight saying Kobe was better than LBJ.

Bro you are right about this nonsense. I actually think ESPN goes out of it's way to pump up Cleveland sports. Look at all the run they give to the Browns head coaching search. Why? And they ALL love LBJ. Having a convo about who's the best in the world, LBJ or Kobe is a compliment no matter where it shakes out. Hey, at least they're talking about Cleveland. It's better than the past when the only run we would get was a box score and a chuckle, not even highlights (or lowlights depending on your POV).

Went to the game and it was one of the best sporting events I've ever been too. The crowd was in it the whole game, especially since KG got the technical a few minutes in. United everyone against Boston. Except referee #9 who I thought was going to need an escort to his car after the game. He blew like 3 calls in the 1st quarter and then was the scapegoat for EVERY bad call the rest of the game. Never seen a crowd more pumped up then when they were cheering on Ben at the line... and he responded. Of course the MVP, Boston Sucks, and Overrated chants had to come out. Could you guys here them on ESPN? Any response by the commentators?

Or how every time Cleveland was brought up in football talks the Drive or Fumble were squeezed in, or in hoops it was the Shot, or even recently with the NCG losses for OSU, but really people stop looking to hear the negative comments or stop looking to spin any comment into something other than 100% unconditional praise.

Did not watch it on ESPN, but on FSN, McLeod joked that the crowd was chanting "Boston Mucks"

One of the commentators on ESPN mentioned it when the chant was happening. When the Celtics were on offense, the commentator said something like, "And if you're listening, the crowd is chanting 'Overrated'..."

It made me happy. MVP and Boston Sucks chants are great... but Overrated is simply awesome.
