ESPN.com reports a deal is close to being made that will pit OSU V. Michigan in a outdoor hockey game at Progressive field in January.

Yep. I put a thread in the College Sports forum cause I thought it'd get more reads there, but no issue with one being here too.

Now we need a Blue Jackets V. Detroit , or Penguins V. Detroit (sadly the latter would get better attandance)at Browns Stadium.

Hope it's not on Jan 1. Browns-Steelers and Winter Classic.
What do you mean Akron isn't in the same market as Cleveland? We're close enough to be fucked by it's sports curse.
