Americans fall 2-1 to Russia. Play Canada on Sunday at 4:30 a.m. EST.
A God Damn dead man would understand that if a minor league bus in any city took a real sharp right turn, a Zack McCalister would likely fall out. - Lead Pipe

US Beats Canada 5-1 in the WJC , did not see that coming, cant wait to watch the replay, I wish ESPN hadn't posted the score on its front page but what are you going to do. Huge win for the US. Will face Sweden in the Final Saturday. I believe it will be live on NHL Network.
May not register much on the richter scale in the States, but I bet you half the population up north is on suicide watch right now.

Lots of Ohio/C-bus ties on the US Squad. Couple guys playing at Miami (OH), Mike Reilly, a Jackets Defenseman prospect, The OSU head coach is an assistant coach for the squad, and I'm pretty sure one of OSU's players is on the squad too, but not positive on that.
BTW, US won gold, beating Sweden 3-1
